    Human-in-the-loop refers to a design pattern in which a person is involved at defined points in an otherwise automated or AI-driven process. Rather than letting a system run to completion without intervention, human-in-the-loop designs build in moments where a person reviews, approves, corrects, or redirects before the process continues.
